Mission:
The purpose of the Community Service Network, or CSN, is to engage students of the University of Rochester in volunteerism and promote service learning at the university. It acts as an umbrella organization to its coordinated programs (alternative breaks, tutoring, adopt-a-grandparent, campus habitat for humanity, circle k) and as a clearinghouse between the campus and the greater Rochester community. It coordinates special volunteering days throughout the year, hosts special programing, and plans Wilson Day, the annual day of service for over 800 incoming freshman, staff, faculty, and alumni.
