Mission:
Root Cause ( http://www.rootcause.org) is a nonprofit consulting and research firm founded in 2004 that is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and accountability in the social sector to maximize social and economic impact. Our goal is to further the development of initiatives that are integrating research, practice, and public policy to address pressing social issues in the most efficient, effective, and sustainable manner. In addition to the consulting and research activities, Root Cause leads two emerging social ventures: the Social Innovation Forum ( http://www.socialinnovationforum.org) and Inner City Entrepreneurs ( http://www.innercityentrepreneurs.org).
