The Wende Museum is dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of social and cultural artifacts, artwork, and archival collections relating to Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union during the Cold War era (1945-1991). Our goal is to acquire, evaluate, preserve, and display relevant artifacts and archives for the benefit of scholarship and public enlightenment. We strive to provide a comprehensive framework for understanding a largely misunderstood and misrepresented society.
