Building Community Bridges, Inc. (BCB), was founded in 2003 guided by a profound commitment to:
-Improve the quality of life in rural villages and disadvantaged urban areas in West Africa by eradicating poverty.
-Institute programs using social and societal structures that create “human bridges” connecting village to village, rural to urban and isolated communities to the industrialized nations.
-Empower our constituents to become self-reliant and self-sufficient in addressing their basic and domestic needs by assisting them to locate the resources they need.
-Galvanize and mobilize our constituents through programs designed to compel them to address culturally risky behaviors that contribute to the rise and spread of HIV/AIDS, thereby reducing its prevalence.
We strive to do so by effectuating endogenous change which will enable villagers to become self-sufficient and self-reliant. BCB furthers its mission through programs designed to accomplish these goals.
