Mission:
The purpose of AmeriCorps* State/CRC AmeriCorps Program, is to engage AmeriCorps members in direct service and capacity-building to address unmet community need. The intent of the CRC AmeriCorps program is to augment volunteer capacity and utilization of those volunteers at host sites throughout Maine. These sites all have a variety of focus issues, but the member would be primarily working with volunteer management for 6-11 months. Members receive a modest stipend and an education award at the end of service to use towards past or future educational expenses.
