Mission:
Men's Health Network (MHN) is the promotion leader for Men's Health Month (June) and National Men's Health Week (NMHW) and maintains the Men's Health Month and NMHW web sites. NMHW was passed by Congress in 1994.
MHN is a non-profit educational organization made up of physicians, researchers, individuals, public health workers and other health professionals, Its mission is to significantly improve the health, longevity, and quality of life or men and their families. The organization’s primary activities include educational exhibits at tradeshows, conventions and health fairs, health education materials, workplace health awareness, health outreach and education programs, and advocacy. With a network of chapters, affiliates, and area coordinators, MHN has a presence in every state and over 25 foreign countries.
MHN recognizes that concerns about men's health is not just a man's issue, because of its impact on wives, mothers, daughters, and sisters, men's health is truly a family issue.
