Friends of the Orphans has been suporting Nuestors Pequenos Hermanos (NPH) homes for over 40 years. NPH is currently the home of over 3,000 pequenos or orphaned, abandoned or disadvantaged children in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. Today, over 15,000 former pequenos are now self-sufficient adults with families of their own. NPH outreach programs, including hospitals and clicnics, serve over 30,000 children and adults each year. Friends of the Orphans also organizes trips to the NPH homes on a regular basis. These visits allow supporters the opportunity to observe first-hand the positive impact of love, caring and acceptance in the lives of NPH children.
