Mission:

Are you ready to make a difference? Teach in Miami
Miami Teaching Fellows

The Miami Teaching Fellows program calls on outstanding individuals, like you, looking for meaningful work, new challenges, and an opportunity to make a real difference in our community by becoming teachers in Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS). After a rigorous selection process, Teaching Fellows will benefit from:
• an intensive summer training program, including practice teaching and a curriculum designed to prepare you to teach,
• a full-time teaching position in a high-need school in the fall of 2008,
• an accelerated, alternative certification program, allowing you to earn your FL professional teaching certification while teaching full time.

Individuals interested in teaching English, math, science, elementary education, or exceptional student education (special education) are encouraged to apply. A bachelor’s degree is required; no previous experience or coursework in education is necessary. Are you ready to make a difference? Apply today to join others like you in a powerful network that can impact the lives of Miami’s students in incredible ways. Our priority deadline is December 17, 2007. Applicants from all states are encouraged to apply.
