I would like to start a giving circle. We would get together for pot-luck type gatherings, pool money, and decide what causes we would like to donate. I am very interested in prisoner education issues as well as immigrant education and bettering the lives of low-income people in Monmouth, Essex and Middlesex counties. But I am really interested to have others join me to shape what this group will be like, how much cash we should pool initially, and we should vote on what organizations we would like to support as a group. I look forward to hearing from others who are interested.
