Mission:
What started out as an expedition nearly two decades ago, is now a lifelong committment to help save the true heart of the rainforest, not the plants, trees or other forms of life, but rather, the most indigenous people on our planet, the Yanomamo Indians. Through an inspiring and thought provoking lecture tour with a Yanomamo Peace Elder and his translator, Gary Dawson, RYSE raises money for food, flood and drought relief, education, medicine and hopefully, someday, safe and globally prosperous, eco-tourism. Chief Shoefoot is a former "Shaman" and through RYSE, the people of the planet have an opportunity to become exposed to how God touches the lives of those who speak a language which only recently, was translated into the written form. RYSE is committed to exposing the 'Unutopia' of the Rainforest way of life and to helping the 'last known surviving stone age tribe' exist into the 21st century.
