Mission:
Disability Rights North Carolina is a statewide non-profit organization, and North Carolina’s Protection and Advocacy agency which protects the legal rights of people with disabilities through individual and systems advocacy. We provide limited legal representation of persons with disabilities on issues such as keeping kids in school, reduction of inappropriate use of seclusion and restraining in all settings including in schools, access to community services, programs and buildings, employment, housing, and ensuring services are provided in a safe and humane environment.
