Mission:
8-8-08 for Burma is a global advocacy campaign. We aim to end mass atrocities in eastern Burma and the repression of Burma's popular democracy movement. Our strategy is to use the 2008 Olympics to draw attention to China's support for the Burmese military regime, and call on them to use their unparalleled influence to encourage an inclusive dialog for peace and democracy in Burma.
