Sky Spirals is a trans-disciplinary project envisioned as intervention in multiple sites and scales as well as conceptual investigations. The project aims to:
| To promote awareness of the universe and astronomical events, where art as a vehicle to live in harmony with the environment.
| To create a better understanding of the relationship between man and the natural environment by shaping the land with patterns of crops and natural vegetation to recreate the native ecologies and habitat.
| To define a place where the interaction with Nature becomes a source of healing inspiring spiritual practises.
| To reclaim the lost connection with the universe as a path to a sustainable environment.
| To experiment with digital fabrications and new materials through integration of information based infrastructure in the landscape.
The first tectonic expressions of Sky Spirals --sundials, observatories and other land sculptural earthworks-- are currently in construction at Sun Farm(NY).
