Hands On Northeast Ohio (“Hands On NEO”) is a dynamic new volunteer organization founded in early 2007 that offers a place for individuals to begin their journey to make a difference and become effective volunteers. We make it simple for volunteers to choose from a variety of projects that connect community needs with their time and interests. Participants are screened and trained to ensure a capable, informed direct service volunteer force, and through this network of individuals, we build the capacity of area nonprofits, schools and municipal agencies. We do this by creating, leading, and managing volunteer projects that produce reliable, measurable results and that meet critical community needs
Hands On Northeast Ohio is the official Volunteer Action Center affiliate for Cuyahoga County of the Hands On Network. Hands On Northeast Ohio is also the official Cuyahoga County affiliate of the Ohio Volunteer Center Association.
