Maryland New Directions, Inc., is a private non-profit career counseling and job placement agency dedicated to helping individuals become contributing members of their community.
Founded in 1973 as Baltimore New Directions for Women, the 35 year-old agency has helped more than 130,000 clients make positive, employment related life changes.

OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
* Served 130,000 Maryland residents in our 35 years of service
* Offer 500 counseling sessions, 20 computer literacy courses, and 120 career workshops at low or no cost to Baltimore residents a year
* 200-300 disadvantaged individuals receive career counseling and job training annually, 70% successfully employed
* Provide comprehensive career services to 60-100 ex-offenders a year, 65% successfully obtain employment
