Mission:
Strategies for International Development (SID) works to eliminate rural poverty in developing countries by providing direct assistance to farmers on reclaiming eroded soils and pastures and increasing income, along with technical assistance to local NGOs for increasing the impact and coverage of their services. SID also works to build democratic practice in these countries by strengthening citizen participation in decision-making at the local level. We currently have programs in Bolivia, Peru and Guatemala.
