Futurehood is an event hosting organization that seeks to unite communities around environmental and technological initiatives in the schools that define them. On October 4th, 2008 we will host a Futurehood event in the schoolyard of PS41 to benefit the GELL project: Greenroof Environmental Literacy Laboratory, to be constructed next year atop the Greenwich Village School. The event will feature all day live music and pig roast, local charities, vendors, and organizations, panel discussions, presentations and conversations for all ages in the 22,000 sq ft schoolyard, 500 seat auditorium, and all of the places in between!
