Third Sector New England is a progressive nonprofit organization providing management and other capacity-building resources that help nonprofits, their leaders and the sector thrive. Fostering a more just and equitable society, TSNE’s programs strengthen the ability of nonprofits to anticipate, react to and create social change. As stronger, more resilient organizations, they can better engage people in community and public life.

TSNE programs and services include management consulting, executive transition support, and strategic grantmaking to foster diversity and capacity building. TSNE also acts as an umbrella for unincorporated organizations in New England and New York that need nonprofit status. It offers a home for Boston’s progressive social change organizations through a multitenant center, and it holds a national nonprofit conference biennially. Equally important, TSNE shares best practices and promotes wider recognition of the sector’s vital role within the United States through traditional and new media as well as through nonprofit networks.
