Mission:

The Georgia Rescue Dog Association is a not for profit, K-9 Search and Rescue unit, and is the only such organization based in the Metro Atlanta area. The handlers and K-9 partners form a highly skilled search team. Teams are a available to attempt to locate and rescue missing persons in wilderness and water situations, as well as to perform article searches. All members are volunteers and receive no compensation for their work. They do however, spend a great deal of time
and personal resources in their efforts to become and remain mission ready teams. The unit is primarily available for search missions in Georgia, but is prepared to respond to national needs. The unit is on call 24 hours a day for rapid response.
