Mission:
Progressive Clergy of Georgia is an interfaith network of clergy from several different faith traditions around the state. As a group, we are committed to speaking with a unified voice on the following issues: Equity (Economic, Gender, Racial, and for Sexual Minorities); Separation of Church and State; and Reproductive Freedom.
Progressive Clergy of Georgia addresses these issues in the following ways. It: allows progressive Georgia clergy to speak with one voice through letters to the editor, television interviews, and other media; keeps its members informed of relevant issues through its monthly newsletter, e-mail updates, and website; provides a forum in which members can share educational materials, and where the general public can find information on a variety of topics; and works with local and national organizations to co-sponsor events across the state of Georgia.
