Mission:
The National Consumer Law Center is the nation's consumer law expert, helping consumers, their advocates and public policy makers to use powerful consumer law tools and strategies to defend the rights of low-income Americans. Since its founding in 1969, the Center has provided expert legal research, policy analysis, and advocacy on behalf of economically disadvantaged people facing marketplace injustices.
NCLC further extends its advocacy on behalf of low-income consumers through its publications for consumer advocates across the country. Attorneys turn to its 13 legal practice manuals for expert analysis of all major aspects of consumer law.
