FUNCTION AND ROLES
In realizing the vision and mission, in its working programs, especially guiding and assisting society, YAPIM serves and places itself as (1) a Catalyst, that is, YAPIM tries to motivate the people and participatively to be willing to make positive changes; (2) a Facilitators, it tries to produce stimulus and motivation by initiating issues growing in thesociety and those appropriate with the people's s expectation; (3) a Syncretiser, meaning that YAPIM facilitates integration old and new things through various development and its programs are centered on the belief in the people¡¦s capability, and (4) an organizer of popular participation, namely it is in cooperation the people trying to look for appropriate
technology for the benefits and welfare of the people.
