Mission:
Students Active For Ending Rape (SAFER) is a national not-for-profit organization devoted to training grassroots student activists to win improvements in their universities' sexual assault policies.
SAFER’s aim is to ensure that every university sexual assault policy is fair and accessible. University administrators are often complacent with regard to sexual assault. Informed student efforts can break through school administrators' resistance to change. To this end, SAFER seeks to train student sexual violence activists as effective grassroots organizers and network their efforts together, building a broad and supportive student movement for campus sexual assault policy reform.
