Alabama Family Ties seeks to unite family members, practitioners, and other interested volunteers to provide leadership, direction, encouragement, and advocacy for a carefully-crafted system of children's mental health care. Our goal is for families to have an affordable, accessible, and effective system of mental health care in all communities of Alabama. Help make this goal a reality.
Alabama Family Ties (AFT) is a state-wide non-profit organization with an office in Montgomery. AFT received initial funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Services Health Administration (SAMSHA) was established to provide support to families who have children or adolescents needing mental health services.
