Description:

Maine Handicapped Skiing provides year-round adaptive recreational lessons to adults and children with physical disabilities, always free of charge. The program serves people from the ages of 4 on up.

In the winter, MHS provides lessons in downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing at 4 ski resort locations: Sunday River Ski Resort, Sugarloaf/USA, Sunday River Inn and Cross Country Ski Center and Pineland Farms.

In the summer, MHS provides lessons in kayaking, canoeing, golf and cycling at different locations throughout central and southern Maine.
