Description:
Years ago I visited the KwaZulu-Natal and met activists lobbying the WTO regarding the time limits on AIDS treatment patents. The papers were reporting 50% of 15-year-olds would be dead in the next 10 years from AIDS & HIV-related diseases. I couldn't believe that a patent could stop millions from obtaining generic treatments - and life. I returned home and enrolled in a PR program. Now, years later I'm a PR consultant and online strategist with an interest in local and int'l anti-poverty, creative activism and art. Feel free to contact me to swap organizing ideas.
