I have a PhD in sociology from IIT Bombay and 7 years of research experience in institutes such as ICRISAT, IWMI, The World Bank and other UN agencies. I work on poverty, rural development, migration, HIV/AIDS, gender, urban agriculture and Impact assessment. I am also the founder and moderator of The Development CAFE, A global network of social scientists.
