My BA is in international studies & I am currently studying Chinese with the goal of becoming fluent. I have a thriving interest in human rights & development issues, especially in South & Southeast Asia and China.My goal in the nonprofit sector is simple: to be of service to suffering people by highlighting issues related to human rights, war and peace, economic development, etc. I am open-minded and easy to work with. I work well individually as well as in groups. I have been involved in Burma-related activism for a few years but I have a thriving interest in human rights everywhere. Ideally I would like to work for an international NGO utilizing my passionate interest in Asia. I am enthusiastic and willing to relocate if a particular job is desirable.
