I am from Lebanon and I've been in the US for two years. I came here since I married an American.
Though My main interest is in conflict resolution which I'm seriously considering doing my graduate studies in, I am by no means limited to that. I'm very interested in disability issues -- I am blind -- civil liberties, and naturally women's issues. As a matter of fact, I have represented Lebanese blind women in a conference held in Toronto Canada in 1996 by the World Blind Union. I have also attended and participated in numerous workshops back in Lebanon concerning youth and leadership, advocacy, civil liberties and democracy and of course gender. I am looking forward to interact with people who share my interests specially if they are in my area.
