"This new initiative is exactly what we need, now that we are entering an entirely new era in race relations and awareness, and especially our need to overcome the "fear of one another" -of our own group's judgments when we make the effort to evolve. In all the areas where this initiative applies, it can only be a good, and wonderful thing, in which all of us should be involved.."

Description:
I am a woman who has spent a lifetime in the passionate pursuit of leveling the playing field, especially in matters of education, racial issues, civil rights. I have, as a professional artist, writer and educator, with a strong interest in children/youth, utilized my art in the service of this. I am always available to be a part of any effort that attempts to better the lives of others. I have authored two non-fiction books: "It Takes A Village To Raise An Idiot" - about racism in public education; and "We White People", about Our role in overcoming the embarrassing social gaps, fears not only of "Them", but of each others' judgment, should we choose to expand our awareness of and association with our African American brethren - the only book of its kind. Both books are soon-to-be-published.
