I joined the AWB staff in late summer 2005. As the Director of Service & Graduate Education Programs, I am the main contact for the Service program (Idealist.org/service), careers podcast show (Idealist.org/podcast), The New Service blog (http://thenewservice.wordpress.com), the Idealist.org Gradschool Blog Project (Idealist.org/gradblogs), Graduate Education Program (Idealist.org/gradschool), and for the Institute of Public Service Careers.

I serve as internship program coordinator for our Portland office, liaison to student groups that work with our office on research projects, and on the board of China Returned Peace Corps Volunteers.

Starting January 2009 my colleagues and I have been mentoring teenage girls through Girls, Inc. Associates program.

I live in Portland with my husband, son, dog & cat.
