I have maintained an active balance between my studies and research activities, my for-profit jobs, and my community service and volunteer work over the last several years. I actively participated in a number of children's and adult literacy programs, including organizing a highly sucessful book drive and adult literacy and life skills tutoring. I have also done some extensive work through a faith based organization on homeless issues and mitigation.
I graduated cum laude magna et ampla, from UT Austin with an honors degree in the Humanities. My strong points are research and writing, especially correspondence (letter writing) and editing.
I have had practical experience with construction, bankruptcy and personal finance issues, and possess great adminstrative skills. I am functional on computors.
I have traveled widely and speak proficient German. I enjoy animals, reading and writing, camping, and driving.
I am currently a candidate for an MBA and a Doctorate in Education at Texas Christian University.
