Description:
TEEN HEALTH CLINIC: working with youth, ages 11 to 21 the VISTA member will be responsible for an education, training and enrichment project that will implement and develop a program designed to help clients continue their education, develop job skills, find more meaningful work, and/or participate in enrichment activities.
The City of Manchester AmeriCorps *VISTA Project is seeking individuals who would like to provide a year of service by making a difference in the lives of people living in poverty. In return for a year of service, participants have the opportunity of meeting new people, gaining hands-on experience and sharing in the rewards of a meaningful contribution to the War on Poverty.
Compensation is in the form of a yearly stipend of $10,906.20 (paid weekly). Upon completion of a year of service, an educational award of $4,725 or a cash award of $1200 choice is provided. These positions are full time and any other paying job is prohibited during the year of service.
Requirements: BA or 2-3 years related experience.
