Description:
VIDA is looking for volunteer veterinarians to aid in our clinics and castration campaigns in Central America (for this year Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama).
All professionals from outside the region will work alongside local professionals and student volunteers to offer free animal clinics and castration campaigns to people in needy communities. We also treat livestock for farmers in need.
Along with providing quality veterinary care to pets, strays, and livestock, veterinarians must also function as mentors to the student volunteers.
Our groups generally last between 1 and 2 weeks, but we are flexible with professionals out of consideration for their busy schedules.
***There are also opportunities available for vet students.
