Description:

Engage with the art of today—volunteer to be an ICA Tour Guide!

Are you passionate about contemporary art: new media, performance, film, design, and architecture? Share your enthusiasm and knowledge with ICA visitors.

We are now accepting applications for the 2008-2009 Tour Guide program through September 5, 2008.

This year's Tour Guide class runs from October 2008 to January 2009. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with contemporary art, artists, museum professionals and visiting scholars. You will benefit from in-depth training on contemporary art as well as the history/architecture of the ICA, education theories, and interpretative and touring techniques for all age groups.

The museum requires a commitment of two years and the ability to perform a minimum of four tours per month. Applicants who are fluent in two or more languages are strongly encouraged to apply.
