Project Sunshine seeking Chapter Leaders in Miami!Are you interested in volunteering with children facing medical challenges by doing enriching arts & crafts, reading programs, holiday parties, and other special events? If so, then Project Sunshine wants you!
About the organization Project Sunshine is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that provides free educational, social, and recreational programs to children facing medical challenges and their families. We send volunteers into hospitals and medical facilities to do arts & crafts, reading programs, nutritional cooking lessons, and Spa programs for parents, all which spread sunshine to children in need! Project Sunshine currently has over 12,000 volunteers across the US, Canada, China, Israel, and Kenya.
Chapter Leader position Project Sunshine is currently seeking Chapter Leaders in the Miami area. These tasks include:
• Managing a monthly email campaign
• Coordinating volunteer trainings
• Maintaining database of volunteers and programs
• Replying to inquiries from potential volunteers in the Miami area
• Leading groups of volunteers in Project Sunshine’s partner facilities (preferred but not required)
This position requires a few hours a week of volunteer work, but the hours are unspecified.
Previous experience in nonprofit work, volunteering, and leadership roles are preferred.
