Description:
We are in need of volunteers who would like to teach health, hygiene and sanitation lessons to the communities, schools where we are constructing bio sand filters so they can have clean drinking water.
Our volunteers will visit primary, secondary, nursery schools and local communities to give the above mentioned education to those in need. LWDG-Cameroon is realizing community development projects, which need a lot of sensitization for the people to use the project properly, and the volunteers help will give them a better view of their project and management and maintenance.
We have constructed and are still constructing biosand filter in various communities of Cameroon. We want our volunteers to travel to Cameroon as soon as possible because we are in great need of volunteers now. You will also take part in sand filter construction.
About accommodation, there is project fee involved, which covers the volunteer’s accommodation, feeding and to and from airport pick up. The monthly fee is 400Euros/month/volunteer.
