Position Overview:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide grant-writing and fund development support to the As Green As It Gets team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Write grant proposals
•Research potential funding opportunities and establish new funding partnerships
•Manage grant compliance and reporting for funders
•Maintain relationships with existing funders
•Prepare budgets/financial reports, in liaison with the management/administration team
•Maintain tracking system for record-keeping
•Support the Executive Director, other volunteers and producers as necessary

Qualifications/Skills Required:
•Sense of humor
•At least two years of grant writing and/or development experience
•Track record of success raising funds for non-profit organizations
•Knowledge of government, foundation, and NGO grant sources for Latin America and/or international development
•Effective writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
•Excellent organizational and administrative skills
•Self-motivated; able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
•Spanish oral and written competency a plus
•Experience working in microfinance, or international development, a plus
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and internet research applications
