Description:
Represent St. Patrick Center and help us "Grow the circle!"
St. Patrick Center is Missouri's largest homeless services center. We have recently added a social enterprise called Celtic Creative, which will allow us to share our knowledge of best practices in the homeless services field and host events for other non-profits and businesses. We need on-call volunteers to help staff events in our Catholic Charities Conference Center. First and foremost, our SPC Ambassadors will serve as experts on St. Patrick Center--greeting guests, answering questions and representing us to our visitors. This position would also involve setting up and striking events, and sometimes helping to register event attendees and serve food. Hours are totally flexible and ambassadors may sign up only when available. Many events will take place in the evening and on Saturdays.
Some lifting may be involved.
