The 'Corporation de Educacion Popular' ("C.E.P.") is a unique schooling project built with the blood, sweat and tears of the population of one of Trujillo’s shanty towns, Ramon Castilla. The parents had to take action because the Peruvian state couldn’t offer them anything better. They hope that their kids will get more and a better education then they had when they were their age. Although there is still a lot missing to fulfill their dream the school is up and running. They can use your help inside and outside the classrooms!

# Improve your Spanish while working with the kids and other volunteer teachers and assistants
# Have a good time with really great kids while helping out in the classrooms or organizing your own activities outside.

# Get an impression of how a NGO like CEP works and how they try to help.
# Get to know a Peruvian fishing village like Huanchaco from an inhabitant’s perspective instead of the short stay tourist perspective.
