4 weeks group programme to 29 August
Optional Safari / Coastal Diving or climb to summit of Kili end August

However, the following personal costs are associated with participation:
International Airfare (Variable between GBP400-800 (to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport code: NBO)
Internal flight if travelling up country.
For safety and convenience volunteers should book 1 hr flights with our partners Fly540.com between Nairobi & Kisumu (March 2007 GBP60) rather than a 6-8hr road trip
Visa and Insurance (Visa between GBP15-40, and comprehensive travel & health insurance GBP50+)
Essential medications
Anti-malarials variable between GBP0.50 - 1 per day
Insect repellent sprays
Subsistence (food & drinks)
Allocate at least USD25 a week to contribute to meals and buy essentials like Fanta, popcorn & chocolate - the Original Cadbury's ! To buy general food for 2 weeks from the supermarket in a main town and get a taxi back to the orphanage, may cost perhaps 3,500 Kenyan shillings which is about GBP25 !!
Orientation and 24-hour support are all provided.
