Description:

Two (2) volunteers needed on Wednesdays from 4:30pm-5:30pm to help lead children in the FUN after school program in jewelry making activities (such as beading, friendship bracelets etc. etc. etc.) Children are already engaged in this activity on their own but would love to have some new ideas and leadership. Children will be split into two (2) groups (ages 5-7 and ages 8-12) and 1 volunteer will work with each group. Volunteers should be patient, consistent, flexible and have a desire to work with children and help children have fun with the activity. Similar volunteers will be needed during the summer program as well. HeartWorks and the FUN program will work with the volunteers to help provide materials.

How to Apply:

Contact Whitney Wallace at 252-745-9703 or wwallace@heartworksonline.org for more information and/or application procedures. All volunteers working with children will be required to complete a background check.
