Description:

Help to preserve the Thuma Elephants in Malawi-Africa in the framework of the Thuma Forest Eco-System Rehabilitation Project of the WILDLIFE ACTION GROUP in Malawi.
Depending on the work- schedule and your abilities, and knowledge there are many possibilities how you can help or perform specific tasks.
Animal Counts, anti poaching and surveillance patrols, surveys, road construction, work with the community and many more. Our Field Manager will decide about your deployment on site. If you have specific knowledge about fields which would be of importance to the project, this might be considered. The decision is up to the Field Manager!
Accomodation:Gras hut, Bushshower, Bushtoilet

We do not restrict to any qualification! Anyone keen and dedicated to perform duties assigned is very welcome! A good level of physical fitness and a sensitivity and respect for other cultures, the willingness to help, learn, listen and follow instructions, which are important for your safety and the safety of the team!
Age: Between 18 and 80 if you can handle heat, dust and looong walks.
You are in a wilderness area, far from a good hospital or medical care!

Your daily contribution per day is 25.-Euro per night, including transfers from/to Lilongwe Airport, accommodation and meals.
Travelling to and from Lilongwe/ Malawi on you own expenses!
