Description:

Lead public tours through the Adlai E. Stevenson Historic Home. This is a great way to share your passion and knowledge for history with others. Museum staff will provide a Docent Orientation that will fully train volunteers to lead tours.
No experience is required. The following skills are needed:
• ability to portray an enthusiastic and respectful attitude working with the public
• ability to deal with the public in a friendly, effective and tactful manner
• ability to speak comfortably and enthusiastically to groups

Two days a month, six month commintment.
