Description:

SCOPE OF WORK: The Volunteer Coordinator at Catholic Diocese of Arlington Migration and Refugee Service (CDA MRS) manages and oversees the coordination of volunteer services to refugee clients of CDA MRS.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Recruit, train, place, and manage 100+ volunteers
•Communicate effectively while serving as a liaison between volunteers and case managers in coordinating volunteer services to clients
•Ensure that all necessary forms are completed by volunteer and that volunteer is cleared by the for service (by CDA) prior to beginning service
•Maintain volunteer database
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
•Personable, good with people, good listener and communicator, organized, computer literate
•Ability to follow-through with communications
•Ability to communicate respectfully with individuals of many cultures
•BA Preferred but not required
