Description:
Exercise your First Amendment right to free speech, fight consumer fraud, and speak up for the animals! Join our team of dedicated volunteers at peaceful protests of pet stores selling puppy mill dogs. This is an opportunity to educate the public about puppy mills and encouraging adoption vs. purchase. Your participation will aid in ending the the sale, and breeding of puppy mill dogs in the Las Vegas area. We can only be successful with the help of volunteers.
Responsibilities
• Relating to the public (potential customers) in a sensible, non-judgmental way
• Exhibiting a foam core sign provided by Best Friends and handing out literature that discredits store’s practices
• Educating yourself about the puppy mill industry and the purpose of our campaign so that you may share your knowledge with others
Qualifications
•Best Friends volunteer paperwork completed
•Peaceful Demonstration Guidelines read and signed
