Description:
Individuals applying for this position should be creative, perceptive, articulate, and an excellent writer. They should also have had graphic design experience and be proficient with Illustrator and/or Photoshop.
Responsibilities include, though are not limited to:
• Ensure that the public receives a consistent message about Emerge Global
• Develop and produce all publicity and communications materials
• Create any graphics or image representations of Emerge Global
• Write and disseminate a quarterly newsletter and short monthly updates to Emerge Global mailing lists
• Maintain online presence (Emerge Global website, twitter, facebook, etc)
• Issue relevant press releases
• Develop a press packet to give to reporters about Emerge that summarizes key facts and details that
need to be included in articles
• Maintain an updated virtual and physical portfolio of all Emerge Global press
• Maintain the US Emerge Global blog
• Set up and manage an online contact database, such as Constant Contact
Time Commitment: 10-15 hours/week
Location: Boston
Compensation: This is a volunteer position
