Description:

Are you a student or recent graduate interested in zookeeping or veterinary medicine as a career? Are you thinking of changing careers, but don't have a degree in zoology or biology? We have the programs for you.

Gain valuable knowledge and experience in animal behavior, biology, and husbandry through our internship and apprenticeship programs. You wil receive valuable skills, on-the-job training, and increased awareness of the unique and valuable contributions that are made by zoos to conservation.

Internship/Apprenticeship Dates:

Summer: May-August (applications due in March)
Fall: September-December (applications due in July)
Winter: January-March (applications due in November)
