Assistant VolunTour Coordinator
Los Niños is now accepting applications for this volunteer position. The Assistant Coordinator will live and work in Mexico. The position offers room and board, medical benefits, and a small stipend. The position requires a minimum commitment of one year. The Assistant Coordinator will work with the existing permanent U.S. and Mexico staff.
An overview of duties is as follows:
• Assist in planning itineraries for visiting high school, university, and civic volunteer groups
• Help in preparation for arriving groups
• Food Shopping for arriving group
• Drive vans during all activities planned with group
• Support organizing groups at work sites/coordinate with local community
• Write Newsletter articles
* Contribute to photography and documentation
• Assist in maintaining contact with groups and evaluation of experiences
• Must obtain a California commercial driver’s license upon arrival

Minimum requirements:
• Intermediate Spanish preferred
• Ability to work well with people
• Flexible, diplomatic, and team oriented
• Interest in global education, community development theory
