Atma is an NGO for other NGOs, we work in partnership to enable them to achieve their visions. Working in intensive partnership with our partners we are able we offer four main services: consultancy, volunteer services, training and exchange platform. Our volunteer services provide partners with highly skilled volunteers working on short-term long impact projects. Over the last three years Atma has brought over 60 volunteers from abroad to work with our programmes.

Period of volunteering:
Atma volunteer placements are a minimum of three months.

Job Role:
Working with the management of the organisation your role would be to work with the organisation to more finely tune their brand image, develop required marketing/identity materials.

Responsibilities:
Communicating with the organisation in order to best understand needs
Develop the needed materials
Secure sponsorship materials as required
Fully produce all the items in required format (print, web etc.)

Skills/Quality Requirement:
Formal marketing experience
Inter-communication skills
Computer skills (Windows)
Basic graphic design skills

Housing and Working Conditions:
Atma will assist to find housing for volunteers. The volunteer will work at the assigned partner organisation. A laptop and mobile phone will be provided to the volunteer during the volunteer period if required. A stipend will not be provided, the cost of travel, housing and living expenses will be the responsibility of the volunteer.


Expectations:
To work diligently for the organisation bsed on the above mentioned areas, creating focus while remaining flexible within the working environment.

Expectations of Atma:
Provide preparation information prior to the commencement , give support and guidance throughout the volunteer period. Assist in adapting to Mumbai, Indian culture and working environment in local grassroots organisations.
